Refund policy

Thank you for shopping at boggbaghx.shop.

We want customers to understand clearly how returns, refunds, damaged goods, faulty goods and order problems are handled.

This Return and Refund Policy includes our voluntary 30-day change-of-mind return policy. It also operates in addition to rights and remedies that may be available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.

Australian Consumer Law rights relating to faulty or non-conforming products are not limited to an arbitrary store warranty or return period.

1. 30-Day Voluntary Return Period

For eligible change-of-mind returns, customers may request a return within 30 days after receiving the product.

To be eligible under our voluntary change-of-mind policy, the product should normally:

  • Be returned within the 30-day voluntary return period;
  • Be unused;
  • Be unworn where applicable;
  • Be unwashed where applicable;
  • Be undamaged;
  • Be in a resaleable condition;
  • Include original packaging where reasonably applicable;
  • Include original tags where applicable; and
  • Include relevant accessories supplied with the product.

Proof of purchase may be required.

This 30-day condition applies to our voluntary change-of-mind policy only. It does not impose a deadline on statutory remedies for products that fail applicable consumer guarantees.

2. Starting a Return

Before returning a product, please contact:

info@boggbaghx.shop

Include, where available:

  • Your order number;
  • Name used for the order;
  • Email address used for the order;
  • Product you wish to return;
  • Reason for the requested return; and
  • Photographs if the product is damaged, faulty or incorrect.

We will review the request and provide appropriate return instructions.

Please do not send products to an address obtained independently from packaging, carrier records or another source without first receiving our return instructions.

3. Change-of-Mind Returns

We offer eligible customers a voluntary 30-day change-of-mind return option.

A change-of-mind return may include situations where:

  • You no longer want the product;
  • You selected the wrong colour;
  • You selected the wrong variation;
  • You ordered an incorrect quantity; or
  • The product is otherwise not wanted despite being as described and free from defects.

Australian businesses are not generally required under consumer guarantees to provide a refund solely because a consumer changed their mind, so this section represents an additional voluntary store benefit.

For accepted change-of-mind returns, the customer is generally responsible for return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are not applicable to our standard shipping service because standard shipping is free on all orders.

4. Incorrect Products

If you receive a product materially different from the product ordered, contact:

info@boggbaghx.shop

Please provide your order information and clear photographs where reasonably possible.

After reviewing the issue, we may arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include:

  • Replacement;
  • Refund;
  • Return at our cost; or
  • Another remedy required by applicable law.

5. Damaged Products

If a product arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably practical.

Provide:

  • Order number;
  • Description of the damage;
  • Photographs of the product;
  • Photographs of packaging where relevant; and
  • Any other information reasonably necessary to assess the issue.

We may request additional evidence where reasonably necessary, but we will not use unreasonable evidentiary requirements to avoid obligations under applicable consumer law.

6. Faulty or Defective Products

Products sold to Australian consumers may be protected by statutory consumer guarantees.

Depending on the circumstances and whether a failure is major or minor, remedies can include repair, replacement or refund.

Our 30-day voluntary return period does not replace or limit those rights.

If you believe a product is faulty, defective, unsafe, materially different from its description or otherwise fails an applicable consumer guarantee, contact:

info@boggbaghx.shop

We will review the circumstances and provide an appropriate remedy where required.

7. Major Problems

Where a product has a major failure under applicable Australian Consumer Law, customers may have rights to reject the goods and choose between a refund or replacement, subject to the applicable legal requirements.

We will not attempt to replace mandatory consumer remedies with store credit where the customer is legally entitled to another remedy.

8. Minor Problems

Where a problem is not major, applicable law may permit the supplier an opportunity to provide an appropriate repair or other remedy.

If the problem cannot be remedied within a reasonable time or applicable legal conditions otherwise permit, further remedies may become available.

9. Proof of Purchase

We may request reasonable proof that the product was purchased from boggbaghx.shop.

Proof may include:

  • Order confirmation;
  • Order number;
  • Receipt;
  • Payment record; or
  • Other reasonable evidence of purchase.

10. Return Shipping Costs

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, customers are generally responsible for return shipping.

For a return required because of a confirmed faulty, defective, damaged or incorrect item, we will handle reasonable return costs in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the claim.

Customers should contact us before incurring significant return shipping costs.

11. Return Packaging

Products should be packaged securely to reduce the risk of damage during return transportation.

Where possible, retain proof of return shipment until the return has been resolved.

12. Inspection of Returns

Returned products may be inspected after receipt.

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, we may reasonably assess whether the product satisfies the eligibility requirements in this policy.

This inspection provision does not permit us to refuse remedies where mandatory consumer rights require otherwise.

13. Refund Approval

When a refund is approved, we will normally issue it to the original payment method.

Depending on the bank, card issuer or payment provider, additional processing time may be required before the refund appears in the customer's account.

That processing period is controlled by the relevant financial institution and is outside our direct control.

14. Refund Amount

Where a full refund is required, the appropriate purchase price will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

For an ordinary voluntary change-of-mind return, approved refunds generally relate to the purchase price of the returned eligible product.

Because standard shipping is provided free of charge, there is normally no original standard shipping fee to refund.

15. Partial Refunds

For voluntary returns only, a reduced refund may be considered where a product has been used or damaged beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, subject to applicable law.

We will not use this provision to improperly reduce a statutory remedy for faulty goods.

16. Sale and Promotional Products

A discounted or promotional price does not by itself remove rights that consumers have under applicable Australian Consumer Law.

If we accept voluntary change-of-mind returns for an eligible sale product, the refund will ordinarily be based on the amount actually paid.

17. Non-Returnable Products

Certain products may not qualify for voluntary change-of-mind returns where return is unsuitable because of health, hygiene, personalisation, perishability or the nature of the product.

However, exclusions from voluntary change-of-mind returns do not remove statutory rights relating to faulty or non-compliant goods.

18. Exchanges

Where available, an exchange may be arranged for an eligible product.

Availability of a replacement product cannot be guaranteed.

If the requested replacement is unavailable, another appropriate solution may be offered.

19. Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order before shipment, contact:

info@boggbaghx.shop

We will attempt to assist where fulfilment has not progressed too far.

However, once an order has been processed or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be operationally possible and the return procedure may need to be used instead.

20. Lost Return Shipments

Customers arranging their own voluntary return shipping should consider using a trackable shipping method.

We cannot ordinarily process a voluntary return refund for a parcel that is never received and for which no reliable delivery evidence is available.

This does not affect circumstances in which applicable law places responsibility elsewhere.

21. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us first regarding order concerns so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Nothing in this policy prevents customers from exercising lawful rights available through their payment provider or under applicable law.

22. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee or statutory remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If there is an inconsistency between our voluntary return conditions and a mandatory consumer right, the mandatory consumer right prevails.
